1. FRUIT JUICE
Most juices can be seriously high in fast absorbing carbohydrates. Just one cup of orange juice could contain around 35 grams of carbs, yikes.
Now don’t get us wrong, it’s a good source of protein & fibre making it a better option than bread but know this, one cup contains 39 grams of carbohydrates.
A cute little box of raisins can contain over 34 grams of carbohydrates.

7. GLUTEN FREE
Don’t be fooled by the gluten free credentials, it doesn’t mean carb-free. Gluten free pasta, cereals & bread contain just as much carbohydrates as the normal variety.
8. BAKED BEANS
Baked beans are a good source of fibre & protein plus they’re one of your 5 a day but just one tin of them can pack up to 54g of carbohydrates.
9. BARBECUE SAUCE
Just a single tablespoon of the sweet tangy stuff contains 7 grams of carbs, if you keep dipping and consume the equivalent of half a cup then you’d have polished off 58 grams of carbs.
